Another example of EE on on the details. When it happens on human features of this size, it makes the R1 almost unwatchable. Notice there are some dot crawls too. Look at Ensign Kojiro's shirt (the guy in orange).

R2 DVD #3 (ep 9; 01:06:17 from start)

The R2 is marginally better, due to no EE to blur out the fine details.
