I was unhappy with all the wide shots I took -- either the angle is wrong, has perspectoral distortion, or the ugly background is shown. The only way is to solve it is to shoot from above.
To take this shot, I had to stand high above my desk, on a box (filled with styrofoam) that I used as my guest chair.
It was my dinner time (near 6 pm), my legs were shaking from the hunger and the instability. This is why I had to use 1/60. In the 4R print, the panels are slightly out-of-focus due to the shallow DOF.
Why not use the 28mm lens then? Well, I prefer to use the 50mm focal length whenever possible.
